Extracting moments from films allows for painterly still contemplation of the selected moments. This collection of stills has been culled from my early and recent film work. Occasionally, I print stills onto thick watercolor paper and then work back into them with watercolors, acrylic, pencil and more to enhance and invigorate the print.
